TD Ameritrade -CEO said dislocation drives opportunity. They have increased their marketing spend. He states in these times they were able to receive more value from their ad dollars, because of ad rates dropping in these times. He also states it is a good time to make acquisitions.
A representative from Bain & Company says Yes- it is a good time to go after market share, downturns are when the biggest shifts in market share happens . He says to maintain your customer base, and don't try to go after different types of customers.
